I started taking pictures when I was five. I had recently received a cheap fisher price film camera and was instantly enamored by its powerful simplicity. Since then, I have always showed somewhat of an interest in photography.

I believe photography can send a message. In addition to having photos just be something nice to look at, I think it can also tell a story. From political protests, to facial expressions, to even the slightest detail, any photo can depict a story and move you emotionally – and maybe even move you to start taking photos.
